Stuck hating a song

I was trying to explain how I felt about my aunt dying. Since it is close to Christmas, I mentioned my dislike for "The Christmas Shoes." I shouldn't have. That distracted from my explaining how I have been feeling lately. Like there was an angel on one shoulder saying "Embrace life!" On the other shoulder was a devil saying "Who gives a flying Funk & Wagnalls? You won't learn anything about life or death from a dictionary!" I suppose the devil could also have used one of my favorite quotes from Jack Kerouac: "I don't know, I don't care, and it doesn't matter anyway." Real upbeat stuff, right?

I've been doing better lately by trying to listen to the angel more. She has connections with some very positive people!

A reason I'm short here

Too much paranoia! Enemy lawyers may be afloat! Oh, yea, sure, like they are that worried about little ol' me! Get over it Ron, that's what I would tell me if I were in my shoes!!

I might as well start somewhere.

I don't know why I am doing this. I hope to figure it out and go from here.
